APS Summer Experience: Choose Your Adventure are FREE summer camps and programs designed for Akron Public Schools students in grades PreK-12. Campers and attendees can have fun, be creative, solve mysteries, tinker with robots, complete a summer internship or advance high school credits. Our nurturing environment and experienced teachers ensure that children have fun, learn and create lasting memories.
Full- and half-day options are available at elementary, middle school and high school locations throughout Akron. Themes include science, art, leadership, sports, and more! Sports camps will be added soon!

All students from those schools will receive transportation to Glover, Rimer and Barber CLCs respectively.
Thank you for joining the APS family! Until your registration is processed, your account may not be active to use the summer sign-up page. Please click this link to select your programming choices, and we will process your choices.
Your child is only eligible to attend Summer Experiences that appear on the results for their school and grade level. In many cases, programs take place at your child’s school, however, some programs allow for students from other campuses to attend. Carefully read the dates, times, and locations of the program when you register. Transportation rules apply.
These programs are specially designed to accommodate a student’s academic needs. Your school counselor or principal has registration paperwork and will assign students to the correct program.
Some Experiences are eligible to specialty school students and should appear in the results. However, you may also choose to attend your verified school of residence. For example, a Miller South 4th Grade student may join the Betty Jane Mystery Camp is the home school.
